EIGER standing desks are used daily by over 1000 schools and help thousands of children
We’re a team of passionate people who are very proud of our products, how and where they’re made and the impacts they have to both children and adults in classrooms and workplaces. In particular we love helping neurodiverse children learn more effectively by giving them the option to stand.

Demand for retrofit
A retrofit and modular design standing desk has many benefits both in the classroom, office and home.
In a classroom the ability to be able to move an EIGER easily within it and from classroom to classroom was a must that teacher’s love. It gives all children an opportunity to be able to stand and be active whilst effectively documenting their work.
In the office it once again offers great flexibility allowing multiple users the ability to spend part of their day working actively, improving their wellbeing and assisting with their posture.
For home working it’s perfect – it can be used on the kitchen table or any flat surface and easily stored away when not being used.
Our approach to design
We wanted our EIGER standing desks to be beautiful in design and have a Scandinavian feel to them.
Firstly they needed to be functional and key to this is the design protected cradle section. It is the back bone of an EIGER desk and makes it rock solid.
From a practical perspective the water based protective lacquer means pen, paint and most other things wipe off very easily.
By no means last, because the EIGER is a modular design it can be assembled and dis-assembled in seconds and stored in its eco-bag out of the way.

We’re also completely focused on looking after the environment for future generations whenever and wherever we can.
That’s why we insisted our EIGER’s are made from 100% natural birch plywood which will last a lifetime and all of our packaging is 100% recyclable.
With our EIGER’s being made in the UK (just down the road from us!) this reduces our transport requirements and carbon footprint.
